Definitely my rent . My rent is $2200 a month it sickens me that I’m not able to by a home in my area. It would be an easier pill to swallow if it was a mortgage .

Rent or mortgage is the pillar of your economy. It can determine weather you can live in a certain city or neighborhood. I believe every other parameter can be worked out.

My rent is the biggest bite out of my paycheck another issue I have is my grandkids think I’m rich an I love keeping them all happy

With my rent going up every year it's hard. I feel like when people are working hard to just keep a roof over their heads and food on the table table rent should be lower. Rent goes up but we're not getting raises enough to keep up with it.

It's mostly the rent. But a very close race with groceries.

Rent and medical bills my goodness. Had an ER visit a year ago and insurance helped but gosh the bills just keep coming! I’ve shredded my savings and dipped into every couch cushion just to break even, and they still send more. I’m just waiting for/working towards the day I can get ahead.

Rent cost is the highest, however, it's a known fixed amount during a lease term. The other categories are all variable and subject to fluctuations. Instead of dining out, eat at home. Prepare your own meals. Rice and beans go a long way. Home grown vegetables are worth the hard work.
Rent then utilities but Ohh wait, let’s not forget the late fees that pile up because you can’t afford to pay the rent with 1 paycheck so it’s late every month….but who’s counting?! I’m also the only income earner in my household so I work 3 jobs and run my business alone.
Rent, car payment and car insurance.
Rent for sure along with utility bills.
