Really, I'm not an animal person, but between a dog or cat. A cat would be my choice bc they are sassy and independent

I just recently had to give my dog to a friend who could care for her better than I could. I’m disabled and couldn’t afford and physically support her anymore.
BOTH! Why do I have to pick one?!
