Do you think donating plasma is worth it after the first few times? Consider the amount of time that you spend and the compensation that you receive after that first month. Is month number two worth it?

Absolutely, donating anything to help someone else is worth far more than monetary compensation in my opinion. The money is a plus, but the feeling of helping someone else is far more rewarding.

I have donated plasma and don't think it's worth what they pay but if there really doing what they say with it than it's worth helping the people that benefit from the plasma..

I dunno, but I do know I’ve donated platelets several times, they don’t pay you for it and it takes 2-3 hours, and I’d do it anytime someone needs it because it literally saves lives. So yeah I probably would.

I think it is because it’s still extra cash that very much, comes in handy!

I don't know, I commend those who do. It sounds like a nightmare.

I’ve never done it but believe if there’s a need, and you can donate, it helps those in need.
I think I replied to 10 comments hopefully but if not, I will do it alll here
I don’t think so but I didn’t have much luck with them getting my veins
I trust that the facility is actually helping those who need it, so if you are physically compatible, it is worth it to help someone in need and also get compensated. I donated for a brief period of time several years ago. I found it a bit physically draining sometimes, but it helped me meet my needs. I am now too old to donate. I think they stop accepting you after 60. Probably for the best 😏
Nope not at all I used too do that now i have pain in my arms I have faint spells and they messed me up multiple times missing the needle and what not I’ve past out 3 separate times felt like my veins were being ripped from my arm. And the pay changes I even got 15$ one time
It’s gotten much easier and quicker. I was a donor, I did plasma phresis, I did develop some scar tissue, and once had an issue with the needle. Also did get faint once when it was too warm in the room. I do think drink plenty water, eat a good meal before, help a lot.. I’ve not felt my veins being ripped from my arms. I’ve donated blood and components multiple times over 40 yrs. I would encourage you to do so and help save a life. Blood shortages are not good when your body can make more blood. And you can help others.
Few times yess
