The emotional, psychological abuse is not something you can put a bandage on, set it like a bone and it grows back perfectly, just put ice on it till the swelling goes down and the bruise goes away!!!!! This is worse, it goes deeper and sometimes never heals, the hurt can linger forever!! You can’t just tell someone to just get over it!! Each one handles it differently!!

I am going through it right now and there is no help! I am about to lose everything! And trying to get loans to keep my place for my 2 girls! I cant even do that!

I'm trying to be a survivor, right now I'm still in the sad victim mode. Fight or flight always.. he has done so much damage over 16 years... I'm LOST. and love the well said comments. Very true on each one

Psychological abuse is underreported and occurs more often than most people think…some do not even know they are victims

I think it should be both. Psychological abuse and it will ruin a person's life.
