Barely scraping by here!!! I have 2 jobs & to bring in a little extra cash, I play games through this app. It's not a ton, but it's an extra $200-$300 sometimes, so it definitely helps.

This is crazy that everyone is struggling. But social media has us thinking ppl aren’t so we won’t come together and demand change

I am hanging by a thread. If it were not for my adult kids I would be living out of my car and this is not just something I am saying. It is the actual truth. I have cut cost the lowest I can and still not making it. And all of this is in top of me struggling with an autoimmune disease that is really taking a toll on me.

create a good resume apply for a good job, don’t look for easy money. Invest in a credit builder 1000 to start off, I did that and score went up over 65 points and I’m not done paying the 1000 All about effort and wanting to make it happen on your own not look for fast, easy not earned money💪

Im struggling to be honest things just keep knocking me down every time i start doing ok its like i just cant build any kind of cushion to break the fall when i get hit the next thing

Honestly, I started in home dog sitting - people needed it in my area and it helped supplement my income quite a bit per month!! Also I could charge my own rates and make my own schedule! I would recommend drawing up some sort of paperwork before starting something like this just for personal protection since staying in other people’s homes can be risky - just generic agreements related to the services you offer etc….

Ha! Just when you start getting ahead, something happens to knock you off your feet. This time, thanks to a big ugly bill, I just found out my life saving medication that I need is “covered” under my insurance but instead of paying $20-30 for it like last year, it’s now $600, but they saved me $400, so I guess it could be worse. Oh and my car started acting up after putting 2 tires on it. I need it to last a few more years but it’s a 2008. Fun times

Honestly, I evaluate the areas of my life that I constantly bleed money in favor or comforts and cut back. I stopped buying 4$ Redbull, cigarettes, Netflix, fast food (unless it's the cheaper option). All that ads up, at one point I was able to reduce daily spending by 30$ which turns into 900 over a month. One time I went as far as eating nothing but Walmart brand oatmeal because I could feed myself for like 2$ a day. It sounds intense, and that's because it is, but here's the thing. Going without comforts for a short period of time allowed me to save 40% of every paycheck and invest that money. Now? I don't even notice the price increases because I have a safety net and my money makes me money

The community I live in has potlucks several times a week and anyone not able bring a dish just come as you are. Nobody leaves hungry. There is also a sharing table to place food items you may wish to donate to those in need.

I think everyone on here are in the same boat as you lol
