Hi Kasey.... I would put $1k towards your debt each month and be debt free in 3 months. But that only leaves you with $700/month for other expenses..... If you can survive 3 months with this budget, then that is what I would do - and I would start immediately. If the above budget does NOT work for you then just pay as much as you can each month towards your debt and be debt free ASAP. Then when you are debt free, put as much money away as you possibly can into a Roth IRA or whatever interest earning account that you choose so that when you retire someday, you'll be all set!!
