Buy generic brands. Know it doesn't sound appealing however there isn't much difference in the taste.

Food stamps. I work and I get a small supplementation. Anything helps. We should all get it honestly. Food should not cost so much. There’s so much food out there and so much we throw away. Nobody should be hungry in this country or worried about how they’re going to pay for meals they’re cooking at home.

Set a weekly grocery cap, plan meals before you shop, stick to a list, and buy store brands. Track spending weekly (not daily) so it’s easy to adjust without stressing over every receipt. 🛒

I grow my own produce and only purchase fish, this greatly reduces cost for groceries.

Use what's in the freezer instead of buying out cooking at home saves me mega bucks

It’s time consuming, but I price compare on my go to store apps. Even if it’s a few cents difference, it’s worth it.

My mom taught me to buy family packs of all the different meats. When you get home you then seperate into baggies/freezer bags. Keep bags of beans, plain rice, pastas, and assorted blocks of cheese. Keep a box of dry cheese, potatoes, and milk for baking (If you run out of milk you have the dry milk as a back up). It's also great to keep some canned milk as in evaporated and condensed, both sweeten, and un. Also buying box of potatoes along with your bag of potatoes is useful not only if you run out of reg milk but for your homemade mash potatoes> if they are lil too runny you can add the powder. She taught me to keep: flour (both kinds); cornmeal; sugar; cornstarch; and bakingpowder, along with your staple of milk, eggs, and, butter. Having those items will always ensure that you nor your family will never starve. You can almost anything, you can diffently make different kinds breads including cornbread. I keep a small thing of yeast incase needed or recipe calls for it. And chicken &beef broth or cubes (You could make your own; i dont) Fyi Keeping canned veggies, tomatoes, meats like Tuna, Salmon, Chicken, even some beef help can make soups and for casseroles. Hope this list not only helps you budget but keeps you& your family feed. Always Blessings -April

I keep my receipts from the grocery store for the month and use them for the next as a guide into why the hell did I buy that, nope lesson learned

I use the store’s app to order groceries and store coupons, set amount before I started shopping and don’t go over and if I go over I look back over my purchases and see if it is a want or need and so far it has been working for me and I love it saved a lot of money and time

I use the store brand apps to maximize discounts and whenever possible use app promos (like save 20% off first deliver order, etc.), bogo specials, etc. It makes a huge difference especially and juice & things like that.

Buy generic, plan ahead for meal prep. Look and see what you already have . Don’t go to the store hungry. Budget and don’t buy unnecessary items. During summer plant own vegetables do costs. Use coupons.

It’s a game for me and my wife we love to shop off the circular, or the sale items that week. And most importantly is to make a list! Also pre planning your meals for the week works great too. Try not to stray from the list! It is extra work but it is well worth it

Make a grocery list, then go on my grocery app and add my list, my app then automatically compares prices of my list items and tells me what place I would save the most money and then I pick where to have my groceries delivered from and then open my door to my groceries

Don’t shop at Publix for starters. I tend to do places like Trader Joe’s and aldis
