How can I save ? As a mom of 5

Not really about saving it’s more about budgeting unless you have a really good job and someone else to help with the children. But if you’re like most of us, it’s taking certain things out of the grocery list, only using one streaming service, learning where best dinner or lunch deals are on any given day of the week, you gotta get crafty sometimes

I just watched a video about the 20 dollar rule. Just stick a 20 away after every payday. If you can't, try 10 bucks.

Couponing, couponing, couponing. Also use fetch (receipt scanning app for points)! I keep a look out for the products that are worth big points and try to correlate them to the coupons I use. And yes, it’s legit. I’ve cashed out before no problem. Definitely a longer reward system, but I it’s a mindless kinda hobby I guess you can say. But a reward is a reward nonetheless.
Set a set amount for back at every time you have a source of income that you receive certain small percent that is affordable in your budget
I used to think about the things we needed, but now I've learned to first think about the things we have. Depending on the ages of your children, you could offer evening and weekend childcare. Take them to the park, or even a fun picnic in the yard. Set-up a tent and play hide and seek. If you have teens they can help and work toward a family goal. Even if you do it a couple of nights a week or every other weekend, it can really add up. I've price checked groceries for years to get the best deals. As "Head of Household" the tax credit is excellent, especially with 5 children. There's non-profit organizations that will prepare your taxes for you for free. They will do their best to get you the best Refund too. 🙏🤩🙌 Wishing you the best! I've been a single mom for years and I've found many ways to make money and stretch and strengthen my dollars. MoneyLion is a good place to find tips and utilization of Instacash is helpful. You can also try Brigit and Tilt.
Put a little away every chance you get
Start with putting all your coins in jug. My brother puts all his dollar bills in a drawer and only use in emergencies.
I’ve tried cut out everything and now the cost of everything has gone up 🤦🏽♀️
Fix dinners that can be turned into something else the next day. Mamwich meat can be turned into spaghetti sauce, chicken tenders can be turned into chicken pie, etc.
