Something about having the money physically in a jar and watching it grow helps motivate me to actually save... However there is the flip side out of sight out of mind that works better for some people

I feel rounding up your dollar amount as u shop anywhere and put the remaining change in savings and watch it grow, it can be very useful for vacations.

If you want to create a budget you have to write down every dollar you spent and what on that's for starters

I have a glass jar i like to keep mine in.

We save change throughout the year and use it as our vacation fund.

Check your pennies I went through my jar of coins and found some other old pennies that were worth three dollars apiece not bad for a penny!

Def piggy jar until it's busting open! Dump in bigger jar & begin again. 10yrs later you will be surprised how much you saved. My mom did this for each of her grandkids & gave them the total balance 1st day of College. $1,800-$2G's made them very happy.

I was using a vault in one of my apps I had for budgeting. The vault doesnt show up like ur checking and savings do. So u kind of forget about it. Until something comes up and u wish u had starting saving years ago!! Lol needless to say, no more savings here for anything. Its fine though I get that money up again!!! Thats what ballers do!!!

I would keep it ina savings account to build up the account .
