The Company operates through four segments: Automotive Finance operations, Insurance operations, Mortgage Finance operations, and Corporate Finance operations. Its Automotive Finance operations segment provides United States-based automotive financing services to consumers, automotive dealers, companies, and municipalities. Its Insurance operations segment offers both consumer finance protection and insurance products sold primarily through the automotive dealer channel, and commercial insurance products sold directly to dealers. Its Mortgage Finance operations segment includes its direct-to-consumer Ally Home mortgage offering and bulk purchases of quality jumbo and low-to-moderate income (LMI) mortgage loans originated by third parties. Its Corporate Finance operations segment provides senior secured leveraged cash flow and asset-based loans.
