American Homes 4 Rent is an internally managed Maryland real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is focused on acquiring, developing, renovating, leasing, and operating single-family homes as rental properties. The Company holds approximately 57,024 single-family properties in selected sub-markets of metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) within 22 states.
