How To Get the Best Deals for Memorial Day Weekend 2026
In addition to being strategic about when you shop, Decodo offered the following tips for getting the best deals this holiday weekend:
Always check price history. Retailers sometimes inflate prices right before a sale. According to Decodo's 2025 data, 23% of tracked "deals" were based on inflated reference prices that were higher than the product’s average price over the previous 30 days.
Compare the same item across multiple retailers. Identical products showed price differences of up to 19% over Memorial Day Weekend 2025. Some retailers have higher starting prices, so the biggest discount doesn’t always equal the lowest price.
