If you’re planning summer travel, you may still have a brief window to lock in lower airfare before prices rise.
“There's a short stretch between mid-April and early May where fares to some of the most popular destinations in the world still sit below peak summer levels," Jesse Neugarten, CEO of Dollar Flight Club, said in a press release. "Spring break demand has faded, but airlines haven't fully moved into summer pricing mode yet. Once that shift happens, the lowest fare disappears quickly and usually doesn’t come back until the end of summer."

Dollar Flight Club analyzed current fares from major U.S. airports and found that, compared with typical early‑summer prices, these 15 destinations remain below peak pricing -- despite higher overall airfare. Book these flights before May 1 to get the biggest savings.
