The $15 Dollar Tree Haul That Looks Like Bloomingdale's

Bloomingdale's is the place to go if you're looking for designer clothes, accessories and other goods. But not everyone wants to spend $200 on a hairbrush — no matter how fancy it looks.

While Dollar Tree isn't likely to carry name-brand goods, you can still come away with a great haul for about $15. There, everything costs about $1.50 (or up to $5 at Dollar Tree Plus). This means you can get so much more for so much less.
We put together a list of what around $15 can get you at Dollar Tree that, while not exactly up to Bloomingdale's standards, will still satisfy your urge to shop and to shop well.
Clear Wine Glasses
Total Dollar Tree Price: $3
Dollar Tree sells clear wine glasses for $1.50 each. Each glass has a 17-ounce capacity and has a simple, elegant design. Buy two for $3 so you can make a toast with someone at your next get-together.
At Bloomingdale's, you can buy similar stemware, but at a much higher price. For example, the store sells wine glasses in sets of two for $85 — that's $42.50 apiece. These glasses still have that elegance and are made with 24% lead crystal, but they're a little smaller with a 13-ounce capacity.
Hairbrush
Total Dollar Tree Price: $1.25
At Dollar Tree, you can get a stiff-bristle brush at a very affordable price. The wood handle is ergonomically designed to keep your hand from cramping for all those brush strokes.
In comparison, Bloomingdale's sells a similar brush (made of boar bristles) for $198. Admittedly, this brush does come with a few added perks the Dollar Tree one doesn't have. For example, it's rich in keratin and can keep your hair strong, healthy and voluminous. The cherry-red handle is also a stand-out feature.
But for the price differential, it might be better to invest some of that extra cash in quality hair products instead.
Printed Shower Curtain
Total Dollar Tree Price: $5
Unless you've got a glass-sided shower, chances are you need a quality shower curtain. You can nab one for just $5 at Dollar Tree. It's made of PVC, so you know it's durable. It also comes in four patterned options, so you can choose the theme that best suits your style.
Bloomingdale's also sells shower curtains, but at a higher price. This heavy-weight EVA vinyl shower curtain costs $52. It can work alone or double as a liner, so you don't have to buy the curtain part separately.
Cutting Board
Total Dollar Tree Price: $1.25
Bloomingdale's sells all sorts of cutting boards, including this 17.2" x 12.22" maple rectangle butcher block. It's got grooved sides to keep liquids from spilling out onto the counter. It's also got a flip side for slicing and serving. But while it looks nice and serves its purpose, it also costs $195.
A smaller, simpler option is this 9.8" x 6.69" bamboo cutting board from Dollar Tree. It might not be quite as durable and it doesn't have those handy grooves. But for the price point, you might not mind.
Crisscross Patterned Door Mat
Total Dollar Tree Price: $5
Door mats are useful for anyone — homeowners and renters alike. But if you don't want to spend $94 on one at Bloomingdale's, head to Dollar Tree.
There you'll find a small selection of simple crisscross patterned door mats for $5 each. They might not be as fancy, but you wouldn't know it while you're wiping your shoes.
