Even though Dollar Tree has had to raise its flagship price to $1.25, they're still an overall bargain. Household items, health and beauty products, party supplies and more can be found at a deep discount compared to department or specialty stores.

Amid potential tariff increases and general inflation threatening your budget and grocery bill at every turn, it may be time to stock up on some essentials without paying more than you should. For example, here are seven items that are always cheaper at Dollar Tree.

Have you ever felt like you spend more on gift wrap than on the actual gifts? Gift bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper and bows can put a dent in your budget if you buy them at the drugstore or card shop. Some Dollar Tree items are generic forms of national brands, so you need to verify the quality is equivalent.
