Where to Find the Cheapest Gas in Every State Before Memorial Day

Memorial Day is seen by many as the beginning of the summer vacation season which means hitting the road for holiday travel. In fact, AAA projects at least 45 million Americans will be travelling at least 50 miles or more for the four-day weekend from May 21 to May 25. That, of course, begs an important question: is it possible for Americans to save on gas costs at the pump when the Iran War has sent fuel prices to a near all-time high?

MoneyLion utilized the crowdsourced gas-tracking platform GasBuddy to find the gas station chains in each state that are selling gas-per-gallon at the lowest price and compared those prices to the national average of $4.51 (as of May 17, per AAA).

With this information in hand, Memorial Day drivers can now seek out the gas station chains in their state offering the lowest possible prices on gas at a time when fuel costs are dizzyingly high. So don’t stay home this Memorial Day – just make sure you don’t overpay at the pump and visit one of these stations before hitting the road.
