While many shoppers prefer the Target shopping experience, Walmart is typically the most reliable for low prices. And in some cases, it's not just cheaper, it's better.

These Walmart finds cost less than similar items at Target and are backed by better reviews from shoppers.

  • Price: $19.97

Walmart sells the Better Homes & Gardens faux-fur oversized throw blanket in a variety of colors, with prices starting around $20. It has a 4.7-star rating and over 2,800 reviews from shoppers, who called this one of the best, softest throws.

Target sells a similar throw, the Threshold textured faux-fur reversible throw blanket, but for slightly more. Target's version costs $25, has received nearly 1,700 reviews and has 4.5 stars.

The Nestl bed sheet set has nearly 35,000 reviews on Walmart's website, and comes in 53 colors. The microfiber bedding comes with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet and one pillowcase, with prices for the white sheet set starting at $15 in a twin size.

Target sells a highly-rated four-piece sheet set from Becky Cameron, with over 4,700 reviews and 4.7 out of 5 stars. The Target twin set costs more than the California King Nestl set from Walmart.

With so many essential oils to choose from, the Noahstrong Essential Oil Diffuser from Walmart was the most popular. The 500-milliliter diffuser comes with an essential oil set, LED lights and a remote control for $25 on sale.

Target sells a smaller 200 ml Casaluna Essential Oil Diffuser for $30. It has 522 reviews and received a 4.3-star rating. While Walmart's version is pricier when not on sale, it's more than double the size.
