Aldi Is Reducing Prices – 14 Groceries Worth Buying This Fall

There’s relief in sight for Americans struggling with high grocery costs.

Supermarket chain Aldi announced on Sept. 23, 2026, that it is investing in price cuts for the fall season. As of today, nearly one-third of products sold at Aldi cost less now than they did last year.

This reduction adds up to an estimated $86 million in savings for shoppers. Naturally, shoppers are going to want to know which groceries are cheaper to buy this fall.

According to an Aldi press release, these seasonal price cuts are specific to fall’s fresh favorites.

Plenty of fresh, seasonal produce now costs less to buy. These include but aren’t limited to:

  • Autumncrisp grapes

  • Bartlett pears

  • Brussels sprouts

  • Butternut and spaghetti squash

  • Fresh herbs and garlic

  • French beans

  • Several types of apples and potatoes, including honeycrisp apples which are now 35% cheaper to buy than they were in 2025.

As meat continues to become more expensive, Aldi is a shopper’s haven for reasonably priced, high-quality cuts of meat. A good example is the Kirkwood chicken breast family pack, which costs $1.99 per pound. This recent reduction positions this chicken at its lowest price in more than five years.

Some of the top everyday essentials receiving the discount treatment include ground and organic whole bean coffee, assorted mixed nuts and dried fruit. Fans of the Choceur chocolate brand will also be excited to see prices have been reduced on this sweet treat, too.

The seasonal nature of these price reductions means they won’t last long, however. Shoppers can take advantage of these sales now through Nov. 3 at Aldi locations nationwide.

Year-round, there are also price drops available at Aldi stores. These limited-time low prices are available for select items and can be viewed on Aldi’s website.
